The EUROPE classification system was introduced because the industry wanted a fair quality assessment. The tool from MEATS AS builds on the same principle by using defined criteria as the basis for classification.

MEATS AS has, in cooperation with Animalia, built a formula framework that calculates objective class based on the combination of animal species, age, breed, weight, length and K-factor, meaning density.
